OneDrive CPU Usage

  • Hi! I'm currently running the OneDrive Plugin (openmediavault-onedrive 7.1.4-3) on a recent OMV (Release: 7.5.0-1).

    I just want a local 1:1 copy of my Onedrive. The Folder is 1,8TB large. The first sync I've triggered with "omv-onedrive --sync". At the end I've got some sync errors and I ran "--resync".

    After the resync was finished without errors, I'm noticing that the plugin is running and needs a lot of CPU ressources. Even after a restart.

    My plugin settings:

    CPU:

    Processes:

    Log after reboot:

    My goal was to just sync the differences every 24 hours once.

    I thought that in the meantime, the plugin doe not need that much ressources.

    Is there something I can do here?
    Thanks for your help :)

  • OMV integrates the 'onedrive' client from here: https://github.com/abraunegg/onedrive

    The OMV Plugin is simply an OMV GUI to configure this client. Please ask all your performance related questions on the GitHub site.

    Please read all the documentation including:

    * https://github.com/abraunegg/o…cs/client-architecture.md

    * https://github.com/abraunegg/o…blob/master/docs/usage.md

    The application can be CPU intensive when performing initial sync, and when performing a resync due to all the generation and integrity checking. Further integrity checks are done based on configuration options. Please read the documentation and configure the client for your use.
