uknown or unsupported timezone tz=US/central

so when i first setup omv i set it to my timezone but apparently it doesn't like that. i keep getting the error in the thread title in syslog constantly. is this ok? what can i do about this? thanks in advance

Go to System -> Date & Time. You set the system timezone but you need to set the php timezone in Date & Time. It is one of the first things I do when setting up a new OMV box.

you mean the dropdown box with the timezone options? if so which one is in my timezone which is central?

Yes, the dropdown. You pick where you live. It knows which timezone you are in based off that. I also live in the central timezone. I pick America/Chicago as the closest place to where I live.
