can anybody help?
I am trying to use 3D acceleration in an VB-guest.
But the gui does not offer the check-boxes:
Ok, i thought this deals with missing 3D drivers for the host.
So i spent 2 days with installing amd-driver-installer-catalyst-13.1-legacy-linux-x86.x86_64.run on my HP-N54L.
This ended with a fresh OMV installation... But at the end, i think i got the driver running:
root@Castor:~# dmesg | grep fglrx
but:
root@Castor:~# fglrxinfo
Error: unable to open display (null)
and:
root@Castor:~# startx
And still no 3D checkboxes.
Oh, of course I installed the VB-guest addons.
Any ideas?
