Which motherboard is in the server?
I tried to help you but I really don't see any light at the end of the tunnel.
Please read that, it seems very plausible.
Check your BIOS for an XHCI handoff option and make sure it's enabled.
Does anyone have any idea what the openmediavault-issue service does?
For me it takes almost 2 minutes to start the openmediavault-issue.
The same is with rc-local service, takes about 1.5min.

No, I'm a (currently) happy user of OMV5
You can check whether xhci drivers are built in the kernel, when the output is y
, it is built in the kernel.
grep -i xhci /boot/config-$(uname -r)
First of all sorry but from my experience here not many want to answer the topic Spindown because it is always being moved here.
The fact is that hdparm does not work well with every HDD's. So it was in my case, for this reason I use the hd-idle instead of hdparm, it works well and reliably.
Wow, that's really interesting. I ended up here with my Latin - sorry!
I had somehow overlooked the cable. Then it looks like the cable is the bottleneck, other cable?
Or did I misunderstand something?
Oops, I haven't noticed yet, maybe because everything works well
Read the post below, seem interesting.
It's about USB3.0 but it can be relevant to USB3.1

You are not alone with this problem
I have observed that this problem is often related to VIA chips
I found the error, if the page is reduced to less than <100% procent this strange effect occurs but only in Chrome browser, in Opera and FF you can reduce the page and nothing happens. This is obviously a chrome bug
Looks like your system drive is too full 'rootfs' space usage 85.5% matches resource limit [space usage>85.0%]
Is that an SD card or SSD / HDD?
Have you ever cleaned the disk with the following commands?
apt clean
apt autoremove
omv-firstaid then Clean apt
1x 4x SATA HAT for NanoPi M4 - da kann man 4 HDD/SSD per SATA-Kabel anschließen.
I'm afraid I can't help you, we hope that one of our experts will have an answer
But Check the warning at the bottom of this page
In my case these steps had working perfectly for system upgrade from omv4 to omv5.
I had not any issues after i did the above steps
With such low energy consumption you can let it run 24/7 and spin down the drives when not used.
It's the same in my case
