I was able to give this a shot last night and had no luck. I don't have access to the server right now but when I will dump the server.conf file and show the log from the end device trying to connect. of course this wont include my public ip

That's an interesting issue.
I will definitely give this a look when I get home.
I was working through remote desktop on my phone from work (slow day) but this is going to be more than i want to do that way.

I have been trying to get OpenVPN setup on my OMV server.
It is running on a raspberry pi b3+.
When trying to connect to my VPN using the android app, I download the and import the ovpn file.
My router port 1194 is forwarded for UDP
Using my public IP as ad public address
DNS is set to 8.8.8.8
vpn address is 10.8.0.0
Mask is 255.255.255.0
In the app the log says "Server poll timeout". 
Any idea why this is and how i can fix it?
