    Hello everybody.

I have installed omv5 and the transmission container always puts one core at 100% but the other cores are almost doing nothing, so the performance is very poor with the downloads and the service works quite bad!

I have tried adding it to use all 4 cores, but it has not worked

    i have a Intel NUC BOXNUC6CAYH, Celeron J3455

What I can do? Thank you

    this is my transmision stack:

    good morning.
from one day to another the web interface does not work, I get this error and I dont know what may be due.

I think it may be a problem with the ssl certificate?

    thanks for your help

    Code
Description: failed to start (exit status 1) -- /bin/systemctl: Job for nginx.service failed. See 'systemctl status nginx.service' and 'journalctl -xn' for details.

hello, how do I have to configure nginx plugin to install a wordpress in this way: xxxx.xxx/wordpress, I have only managed to do it through a port, but not in a way that port 80 or 443 is used

    thanks

    the same problem here

Sorry ryecoaaron for bringing up the issue again. Meanwhile after updating successfully yesterday, I get today this Error/Warning message:

Perhaps there is another hint for me to resolve this issue?
    Thanks in advance,

After looking deep into the system, the problem was of the power supply of the laptop that had, surely the current it offered was unstable and was the one that produced the server crashes. I changed it and now everything is ok

As my professor of technology said when I was little, the problems of a computer we must solve them from less to more (starting to look if it is plugged): -DDD

Many thanks to all for your help

It looks very similar to my J1900 system. So, i would say it is fine. You didn't answer my questions about virtualbox and normal load?

Almost no use virtualbox, only torrent use, smb ftp and plex, in this case the transcoding can take the processor to 90-100%, but has worked well so far (has 1 and a half year)

but normaly the processor is in 5% - 30% load.

That smart data only would indicate if a drive was failing. This could be a hardware issue too. What motherboard is this system using?

    this: http://www.asrock.com/mb/Intel/Q1900DC-ITX/

I've had another system crash and this is what the log contains.

Can someone help me to know what is happening ?, thank you very much

    syslog: http://pastebin.com/Sffxggd1
    Messages: http://pastebin.com/fgHybREv

Seeing the logs I think I have a problem with the motherboard or with the memory, right?

    this isnt normal!

    this isnt normal!

This would make it harder to find the problem. grep -ir "SEARCH_TERM" /var/log/* would search them all but you wouldn't know what term to look for. The two logs I listed above should have what went wrong if the system was able to log something before crashes. What type of system?

I do not know exactly what happens, I've been a few months that the system warns me of a SMART failure of the mechanical hard drive that I have but then I see that everything is correct, what happens is that it hangs up and seems to be rebooted and then back again To run, now it has been 3 hours now and nothing has failed, I have removed the motherboard and cleaned it and see what happens ...

    The system is this:

How do you see the hard drives??

    and the ssd:

    Good afternoon from Spain
Since a few days ago my system is having random errors that do not know where they come from. Suddenly the system falls and rises again in a few minutes, I'm very surprised that it can be and I'm a little lost ...

What I want is to know what log was recorded what has been the problem? And if there is any way to view all the system logs together in a single file so i do not have to look at each of the separate thing separately.

    thank you very much

    *Sorry for my english

    Hello good day

Today I changed my internet provider. Before I have the omv working perfectly with a lot of services ... what happens to me is that when changing ISP now is impossible to connect the server to the Internet. ping not work, atp-get update not work too...

I've put a fixed ip settings 192.168.1.7, 255.255.255.0, gateway 192.168.1.1 and dns I've tried google, and with my ISP.

Is impossible for me, I tried to run omv-firstaid, relocating a fixed IP, DHCP .. but nothing works. Lan works, but No internet

The strangest thing is that if I make a new install everything works properly with the same configuration as the server already created.

Would have to reconfigure the server all over again and I think quite unnecessary work

It's all very strange, and I do not know what else to do, any idea.

    thanks a lot

Ok thanks to all, i'll test all posibilities

    edit:

ok I did everything as you say but I have these errors:

    in ftp:

and in sbm all works ok

You need to repartition the system disk and add an additional partition.

ok, I dont know that i could mount another system disk partition, very interesting, i review it, thanks

I have some shares on the system disk, but they were configured by hand as "Extra options" in the SMB/CIFS settings page. They will not appear or be referenced anywhere in the Web GUI, so everything about them must be set up by hand. Probably not the best way to do this, but for me it was a one time thing and I have not needed to touch them since.

ok also is another option to make the most of the space but what is more need to appear in the WebUI to establish it as a cache of various services. thanks too
