    Hello,
    after I had really problems with the installation of OMV on my thinclient WYSE 7010 (Z90D7) I read this:

    I've got a thin client (a Dell Wyse Z90D7 i believe) set up as a home NAS of sorts, And i've been wanting to upgrade it to OMV instead of the Ubuntu distro i've got running on it now.

    But unfortunately it seems Debian's GRUB install doesn't really play well with my computer, No matter what i try everything goes smoothly up until the actual grub-install itself;

    The short story of the solved problem:

    The first time I installed the software on my thinclient, I decided in the installation-dialog to force the system to use UEFI. And that was the main problem in my case.

    The following problem is, that the next (new) installation do not ask again the UEFI-Question, because the right partition and so on are already there.

    After really really many tries, hours and google-pages I used a USB-stick with an linux live-system to get rid of the established partitions so the next installation of OMV had to create new own partition and now it asked again if I want to use UEFI...

    And that's all...in this case...no UEFI, no problem.
