Looking to convert my OMV install dockers and all to a VM, then setup ESXi and import. I also would like to keep my 72TB RAID 6 and import it. Once I Have this done I am going to look at setting up a Win 10 VM with GPU passthrough. Thanks!

yes still getting error messages, I am trying (sorry new here) to figure out how to get all the zfs stuff removed. I wouldnt mind getting rid of the pve since I dont need it anymore.
The following packages have unmet dependencies:
libnvpair3linux : Breaks: libnvpair2linux but 2.0.3-pve1 is to be installed

pretty sure if I can successfully remove any PVE and ZFS from the system my issues would dissappear
-
When trying to update I get the following errors below. Would love to remove PVE and any ZFS.

I have been looking for a how to or step by step guide on removing the pve kernel safely and reverting back to the default or backports kernel. I see the remove option but dont see where to install a different kernel.
-
God bless, seems like there is no how to or guide for that...
-
Holy crap that worked! Now I am searching on how to remove zfs and pve kernel. Thanks!
-
Output??
Attached are the logs. Sorry new to this, is this the correct format and logs needed?
-
That didnt work either. Errors updating. Ran apt --fix-broken install and errors subprocess killed by broken signal.
-
Didn't search, huh? RE: ZFS on OMV 5.6.0 crashing (unmet dependencies)
Problem with that is, it doesnt get zfs and the kernel uninstalled and back to standard kernel...

did you get this working? I cannot access using dns but no problems via ip.
-
alright how about this, I have imported read only, now copying over 25tb of data to a regular non zfs raid array temporary. I will then delete zfs array create a raid 6 array and copy data over. Once this is done what is the best way to switch back to the most current kernel? Currently using proxmox kernel

-
please post what i ask, and ZFS version too to check the support table: http://build.zfsonlinux.org/zfs-features.html
ZFS must be 0.7.13 or hight
OMV 5.5.23-1
Kernel 5.4.78-2-pve
openmediavalut-zfs 5.05
-
Will it detect the raid without affecting the data ?
And what to do if I need to replace the motherboard (I am worried since it is a software raid)?I think so. I'm gonna try this in the next week
