    It would be a substantial change in the plugin. Since I have moved away from using rsnapshot myself (I use borgbackup), I won't be making this change myself. The community will have to contribute this change.

    The ports on your nics are in pairs in the same IOMMU group, which IIRC means you can't passthrough them individually to a VM. But you still bridge them individually to a VM. This thread should clarify things for you

    In the backup->actions there is maintenance and container state. What exactly are doing these two options?

    I took a look at the groups with the command: find /sys/kernel/iommu_groups/ -type l

    The result is what can be seen in the attached screenshots.
    The motherboard of this server has 5 integrated ethernet ports (it is a server board).

    It sounds like a good test, but RAID-1 may not always show a disk as "bad" if it doesn't recognize a failure. Try checking the disk status with mdadm --detail /dev/mdX to see if it detects any issues. Also, consider marking a disk as faulty using mdadm…
