    Why? If you sync ever hour, the most logs you would lose would be an hour's worth. If you plan the timeshift time and writecache flush time close to each other, it could likely be a couple of minutes at most.

    You need to delete the backports repo file in /etc/apt/sources.list.d/. I don't remember the filename in omv6.

    grep -i backports /etc/apt/sources.list.d/*

    will tell you the filename

    It's a pity that timeshift doesn't offer a pre-snapshot hook. Fortunately, a pull request to add this feature was submitted earlier this year (URL). Let's hope it gets merged!

    In rsync mode, it's not such a big deal if a writecache…

    OMV NAS resources are mounted on /srv/dev-disk-uuid-(UUID of the disk), so you have to use CHANGE_TO_COMPOSE_DATA_PATH/ variable of docker compose plugin or a path to your folder with /srv/dev-disk-uuid-(UUID of the disk) prefix.

    Everything still seems to be working fine though. I may put a backup USB os drive in and try updating again. Maybe something didn't install correctly.

    Thanks again. I ran the first command successfully. It couldn't find the second file and when I looked I couldn't find it. I ran your cammands from the previous post and it didn't find it either.

    When I reboot the server though I still get the same 401…
