OMV doesn't let you create a bridge from a wifi adapter. I honestly wouldn't use wifi for that. -

I'd considered it, but hadn't taken the plunge. Since you're now suggesting it, I may well look into it as a proper long-term temporary solution.

No. I haven't looked at the code. But the way wifi can drop/be interrupted by interface/etc would be non-ideal for a bridge.

You could always use a wifi to ethernet bridge. The bridge would be on wifi and the server would plug in via a wire. Or… -

Unfortunately, WiFi is my only option per the homeowner's insistence. As in, my entire setup is WiFi only. He's convinced I'll "break the internet"... -

I am improving the uninstall now but disabling the plugin before uninstalling should do the same thing. -

the plugin disables it services on uninstall. So, I don't know of anything it could be doing with those services disabled. You could disable the plugin (uncheck the Enabled checkbox) and apply changes. Then uninstall the plugin and reboot. -
