    I can't explain: but now it works!!

    It seems the fault has to be located sitting at the keyboard...

    Sorry - i tried several times, always getting error-messages, :(

    I want to allow a very old Mac ( NacOS 10.6.8 ) to access a share on my OMV
    I have to set protocol to SMB1 for the Mac to "see" the server
    Then browsing the server from the Mac shows the share names and disk capacities but NO content

    I have NO problems…

    my OMV ist runnig very robust, only one thing is hard to solve (for me):

    Okay... it's better with the right architecture.... it was a 32bits ;-(... I start all over again, following wiki steps, and now it's fantastic!

    I got my NAS, my MiniDLNA, my Time Machine and a CUPS AirPrint Server (Docker composed) ... Awesome!!

    You can move some of the data from the full drive to the other drives yourself, or use the "balance" tool.

    I've never tried this but maybe it would work to disable the trash in the GUI and add the appropriate commands with the options you need in the additional options line to create the recycle bin and place it where you want at the same time.
