Until today with the add option to set a default array, you couldn't run snapraid sync because you aren't specifying the config file to use.
mergerfs has nothing to do with snapraid.

It will not cause problems for the operation of the container, it will continue to work the same. But if the container is using the root user even though you configured another user you can have two problems:

Seems to be fixed in latest set of debian 12.8 updates.
