    Connection Lost when quick erasing disk gestartet.

    Just did a fresh install of OMV 7. I have 5 4TB drives attached but when I want to erase a drive in quick mode. This is not happening when I select secure wipe.
    Any ideas welcome.

    If you removed it before and didn't unmounted properly and don't see it on the GUI, this reference has to be removed from the config.xml

    i was anxious because after installing OMV the first time, i did updates once, then i did not look after it for about a half year,
    and i remember there were about 140 Updates..

    It is weird because certain things I can not grasp, but other weird things I can. In a 10G LAN Network, where does 2.5Gb xfer speed fit in?

    is exFat your filesystem for data on OMV?.

    If YES, that is the problem, change to ext4 or other well supported Filesystem on linux

    All tests passed, unable to replicate the issue on the alternate machine using the primary USB stick installation.

    I think I had the same issue. I connected my iphone via Files and every time I tried to save a .heic file in a shared directory I got the "file name too long" error. For some reason it worked if i converted the file to jpeg or png (with the same file…
