    Probably for a home NAS where most of the files are small ext4 is better.

    The plugin doesn't allow configuring ballooning ram but you can edit the xml to use virtio-mem https://www.libvirt.org/kbase/…ces.html#virtio-mem-model Just remember the OS needs some ram too.

    Sorry, I can't help you with that issue. I use xfs format, not ext4. If I recall ext4 from the gui is rather slow, but xfs is rather fast. I don't believe there is a way to gracefully stop the ext4 format. I believe it is possible to do a faster…
