Deluge plugin crashing, segfault

  • I did clean install and installed deluge plugin to OMV whit

    Code
    wget http://omv-extras.org/testing/openmediavault-deluge_1.5_all.deb
    dpkg -i openmediavault-deluge_1.5_all.deb
    apt-get install -f
    apt-get update
    apt-get upgrade

    Then in OMV installed deluge(latest).

    after that in console

    Code
    apt-get dist-upgrade
    Reading package lists... Done
    Building dependency tree
    Reading state information... Done
    Calculating upgrade... Done
The following packages have been kept back:
      libtorrent-rasterbar7 python-libtorrent
0 upgraded, 0 newly installed, 0 to remove and 2 not upgraded.

Deluge runs fine now, but when I go to deluge webui I can connect to daemon but soon it will just crash. I need to restart daemon, to get it working again.
in the syslog it will show this.

    Code
    Nov 23 14:03:56 openmediavault kernel: [ 2019.927958] deluge-web[26157]: segfault at 8d3000 ip 00000000004630bf sp 00007fffa22f14f0 error 6 in python2.7[400000+257000]

When I try do change some settings:

    Code
    Nov 23 14:06:03 openmediavault kernel: [ 2147.151606] deluged[26144]: segfault at 8d3000 ip 00000000004630bf sp 00007ffc414a8450 error 6 in python2.7[400000+257000]
    Nov 23 14:06:38 openmediavault kernel: [ 2181.515132] deluged[26313]: segfault at 8d3000 ip 00000000004630bf sp 00007ffe00598d40 error 6 in python2.7[400000+257000]

I think the problem is in "libtorrent-rasterbar7 python-libtorrent" because it cant update it.
Please can some one help me to fix this problem, because it is one of the most important plugin for me. ;(

The kept back packages are on purpose so they don't get upgraded by another repo. I haven't used Deluge in a while, I'll have to check again with the latest version, could be a problem with the libtorrent who knows.
I would try the back ports kernel if you don't have it already, there is a button in the omvextras section.
If that keeps crashing Deluge then what you can try is use a docker container. There must me plenty of images of Deluge in the hub.
