BTRFS and usability

  • That kind of feature is not yet implemented in OpenMediaVault 3.0. There are feature requests for it (generic one, for all those btrfs features beyond simple raid support), but currently @votdev is refactoring a really big chunk of core code, so that Feature may take some time until it is implemented.

  • Hello,
I am testing OMV 3.0 since a while and i am happy.
Right now i got the newest availible updates and OMV 3.0.13 and Kernel 3.16.0-4-amd64.

Today I put a new Seagate Archive 8TB HDD into my NAS, formated it with BTRFS.
From the beginning it shows 7.28 TiB of total space but only 200something availible.
So i was brave, started fillig it with data and the availibel space went down and down, right now it shows "N/A".
As fas as i can see, no further issues, everything is working.

    Does anyboby know about this?

    Is it a noticable bug?

    Cheers,
