Remove Disk from Log

    I had a hard drive show a bad sector error on an install of OMV 4. I have since removed that disk drive and formatted it to windows and found no errors. When I reinstall it to OMV it still shows up with bad sector errors. Is there a way to remove that drive and try to start over with the install or every time I install that drive with the serial number on it will show a disk error.

    Bad sectors are reported by smart data. That is independent of filesystem, as is part of the disk firmware.
    I am not familiar with windows latently. Does windows gives the full smart data?
