Hi @all,
is it possible to activate a captcha login for the webinterface? Is there any plugin?
I think this is an good solution to increase the safety by connecting from outside over web.

Why don't you use an openvpn plugin. So when you login in you are securely connected to your home network when you login.
I have running wordpress with an little blog and extplorer for friends - so I have only access over port 80 from outside. Is it possible to change the ports of wordpress and extplorer?
When connected using openvpn plugin you could connect to extplorer as you would normally via your lan. You could change port of the wordpress but would ppl be as likely to read it on non standard port? I would think a blog should be on http or https. More people will probably answer your questions. This is just my opinion.
Okay - I understand you. I´ve already a vpn access to my NAS, but I do not want that my friends also have a vpn access into my internal network (for using the blog and the extplorer)
Leave the blog on port 80 and move the OMV web interface to a different port.
Okay - sounds good. Is that complicated? At this time , I didn´t find anything about this topic.
Are you using a plugin to host the blog?
Yes - the wordpress plugin and the extplorer plugin. When I change the port for omv webservice then wordpress and extplorer automaticly change on the same new port.
That is going to be hard to change then. I guess you could host wordpress and extplorer on the nginx plugin but that would require manual setup.
Mmh - I will let it in this configuration. I'm not an expert, so its to dificult for me.
As an idea for a next OMV version - a timer for the login procedure who increase the time by every failed login. Thus, a bruteforce attack would more difficult.
1.0 has that. After three failed logins, you are locked out for a period of time.

volker is already working on it for future versions:

cool - I must make an update (I'm now on OMV 0.5.60 Saudaukar)
