I´d see what process is using it first with ps aux | less
When running:
That made my saturday, the Plex is running.
Is that something I have to do after every update?
Nope.
It sucks but you will be ok...
Will the updates still come automatically even I changed the source?
Was meinst du "changed the source"????
Did you mess with sources.list????
I think he had to, cause the plex pass source is another one, isn´t it?
Hope he only changed the plex repo.
I would recommend always updating plex pass versions manually openalf. The plex pass repo is down a lot and that will effect you updating everything else. The guy ( he used to go by Moxy and is member here) that is doing that repo has it on like a Western Digital Go Book....
Yes I took it from

Once signed in click on this link. You are now in a Plex Pass only section of the forum.
The
1st post contains links to the latest Debian 32 bit and 64 bit package
of Plex Media Server. Download the appropriate package for your
machine.
Did you figure out the repo openalf and add it to sources.list??? I'm still not sure that is what you did.
Should I download directly from plex.tv?
I was visiting the page in the Plex forum, from where I made the download. I moved it to /var/cache/apt/archives.
Then I made a wget and c/p the link from the package. I did exactly as stated in the guide Plex Pass and Upgrading Plex Media Server Manually; was that wrong?
You are ok then. We thought you did something different. You will get upgrades if the ones from the repo are greater than the one you have installed. But if you always wan Plex Pass you need to watch for newer version on the links in the Info. TAB.
I do have one more question, are there more plugins where you would say it's a must have? I heard a lot about couchpotato where I could catch mvoies and music as well, or is that wrong.
I really like the links plugin to save linux (OMV) related websites for learning. For me OpenVPN AS (or OpenVPN) is important so I can connect safely to my home, or work, network. I use webmin (not a plugin) for file management and lots of other things. I like the backup plugin for backing up the system drive with clonezilla or parted magic (which has clonezilla on it).
Everyone has different needs. If you have questions about a particular plugin just ask.
I let other add more or maybe you should start a new thread on this topic.
Ok Webmin sounds interesting but what can I exactly do with that feature.
And what is about couchpotato.
With webmin it is easy to manage files. But I show you a picture why I reallly love the file manager in webmin. Just a minute...
In webmin I can quickly go through and edit a file/folder chmod or chown. See picture.... You can quickly edit/upload/download/zip/unzip files/folders too.
Oh, I tell you something else. The Plex Setup Info TAB was created in webmin...
I do my html work in the webmin file manager. Just faster to edit and test than other methods.
