rsync server module in a subdir

I searched the forum but cannot find a solution for my "problem":
I have many clients outside my network which push their data to my box via rsync (deltacopy).
On my Ubuntu, while configuring everything by hand, I can set the target directory per module on the same base path.

Now I want to configure my OMV the same way, but I can only select a "share" per module.
What I need is to use a directory on a share for the module.
Example:
myDataContainer (share)
|
+- Client_1 (directory on share)
|
+- Client 2 (directory on share)
|
...

As far as I could see, I would have to create a share for each client. That is unusable, because the share list would explode.

Any ideas how to solve this? What did I oversee in the config?

my answer is so late because email notification does not work for me. I thought I will be informed about answers by email but was not so...

yesterday I changed most of my clients to use the new rsync target on my OMV box.
it works like a charm
