OMV + OpenPHT @ODROID C2?

  • No one? Think the question is not hard to answer for someone who lives with linux systems.
I'm new to linux and and the command line. i would say its possible, but i don't want to order a odroid and it doesnt work.

I use Linux all the time but I don't openpht or plex. So, I can't answer. This is probably why no one else can answer either. They have an RPi2 image that has a good chance of working (both armhf) but can't say for sure. An Odroid-c2 isn't a huge investment and it definitely can run OMV. So, it wouldn't be a complete waste if openpht doesn't work on it.

The .deb you linked to will not work though because it is amd64 not armhf. They don't have an armhf .deb. No idea what the embedded image is.

If the embedded image is Debian Wheezy (OMV 2.x) or Jessie (OMV 3.x), it should work.

The openmediavault package is architecture independent. So, add the repo and install it.

    Code
    echo "deb http://packages.openmediavault.org/public erasmus main" > /etc/apt/sources.list.d/openmediavault.list
    apt-get update
    apt-get install openmediavault-keyring postfix
    apt-get update
    apt-get install openmediavault
