Hi,
how can I access share from non domain joined windows 10 computer?
Accessing share

-
Windows>>>RUN>>> \\ip_address\share_name
Or you can map the drives from Windows Explorer too.
Make sure the computers have the same workgroup as the server.
-
Thanks,
how about same user using more than one username? When trying to mount new drive with new credentials I'm getting windows cannot access. Should I try by using servername? It also cannot access.

If you enter the credentials incorrect about more than two times, you got to log off the computer or restart it.
The better way is to remove your Windows credentials under user Accounts, then re-map the drives properly. -
What do you mean remove Windows credentials?
-
Disconnect/remove all shares currently on your Windows, then log off the computer.
Log back in, and re-map the drives. If you think you may enter wrong credentials that prevent you access the shares, this how you remove them:
CodeControl Panel>>User Accounts>>Credential Manager>>>Manage Windows Credentials Click the dropdown, then click 'Remove'
Why you want to use more than one user to map the drives?
Here's the work around:Code
Alles anzeigenEdit C:\Windows\System32\drivers\etc\hosts, add several host names for your server's IP. e.g., 10.64.1.2 fileserver 10.64.1.2 fileserver2 10.64.1.2 myfileserver Then use these host names to access your shares. like the follows, \\fileserver\share1 \\fileserver2\share2 \\myfileserver\share3
