eth interface bonding and wol

    i want to go link aggregation on two nics.
    for the new server now i want to use wake on lan.


    i cant find anything useful in the net.


    Is it possible to work with wake on lan with link aggregation?

  • Yes you can. I've done it my server board. The bonded nic just takes the primary nic MAC address. The option still needs to be configured at ethX, not bond0

    Is it possible to explain me how to setup the bond with two nics?
    My system only has two nics.


    I tried it at friday and crashed everything.
