Same issue here as well, new Catalina Music app (ex iTunes) won't recognize iTunes Server on OMV. Any clue why?
Today a new version was released with fix for macOS Catalina.
Anyone might able to update the OMV plugin?

Hello,
I also have issues connecting to forked-daapd using macOS 10.15.1 and Apple Music.
would it be possible for the plugin team have a look at integrating forked-daapd version 27 into the plugin ?
I have tested version 27 on a ubuntu box and it serves to Apple Music just fine.
what version of forked is being used by the openmediavault plugin ?
thank you.

That seems to be:
forked-daapd/oldstable,now 24.2-2 amd64 [installiert]
has there been any progress?? current version with OMV is 26. which has the mentioned issues.
is there any other way than compiling from sources?
two releases missing so far: https://github.com/ejurgensen/forked-daapd/releases
anyone to ping for a new OMV release?
OMV can't and won't maintain external packages, that's why it is based on Debian. If Debian updates the package, then OMV will automatically get a newer version. You may want to open a bugreport at https://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bi…orked-daapd;dist=unstable to increase the possibility to see a bugfix in near future.
