Hi,
As it's my first message on this forum, i'm going to introduce myself: I'm Ludo and I'm a System & Network Engineer in a French startup nammed UbiQuitus. We work on a Storage & Backup solution and we choose OMV to developpe our new product. I'm sorry if my English is not really good.
I installed OMV on a VirtualBox VM (Debian install, and apt-get install openmediavault).
This is the omv-sysinfo -c 00 return:

I would like to know how to configure OMV users, shared folders, services... exclusively in Command Line.
I saw that as I install OMV on Debian, I could configure it with Debian utils. It works fine for users, but it doesn't work for shared folders.
To configure a test shared folder:
[tt]cat /etc/samba/smb.conf[/tt]
...
[testShare]
comment = test folder
path = /mnt/aaaaaaa/
browseable = yes
create mask = 0755
directory mask = 0755
valid users = "ludo"
write list = "ludo"
...
Alles anzeigen
service samba restart
And then, I verified that in the web interface it appears in SMB / CIFS shared folders: nothing.
I really need to administrate my OMV server in Command Line.
