Hi TechnoDAd, lets start out by saying your videos are very informative and easy to follow and also very practical. From all of us out hear many thanks. Now to my question, I have the latest version of OMV installed on my Pi 4 with Docker. I also installed OpenVPN but i am not sure how to go about getting OpenVPN configured in OMV to get it to work.

Im a newb to all this so any help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Hi TechnoDad, I installed haugene/transmission-openvpn following your video tutorial 2019. Only did not use "docker network create mynet", as it gave me problems, I'll come back to that later (and webproxy).
For now I have a question: I want to open up a peer listening port (51413 default in my case), but TM says port is closed. I've read an old article that higher dl speeds are possible with port open: superuser.com/questions/105341…rwarding-help-in-torrents
There is DHT mentioned, no PEX. But I get the assumption opening a peer listening port is only a good thing. But I can't get TM to say port is open.
I do have upnp set in router and port forwarded 51413 to omv-host ip (local). Also added this port forward in webgui in docker container.
Can U help or point me in right direction? Thank!

it appears that the latest version of omv has turned off the ability to create raid on raspberry pi with usb disks. i did it several days ago but cant since updating monday. they just as well kill the rpi cause thats the only disks you can attach. yes????? you can still do it manually via shell mdadm.

Hi. First I want to say a big thank you for all your work on helping setting the OMV. It was verry easy to install and setup my OMV server with your videos. Second I need some help because I run in some problem mostly related to VPN part and I was wondering if I can get some help from you. Tried on the forum but the answers are not helping me to much. Hey, first of all: thank you for your great Videos. I'm not new to Linux but it's my first time with webserver, nas and omv and they helped a lot.
But I can't get a nginx config to work after following your Letsencrypt tutorial. maybe you've seen my thread forum.openmediavault.org/index…ypt-Nxinx-Redirect-Error/ and maybe you have an idea how to fix this. Thank you anyway

Just a quick question: in the video to install Nextcloud in docker at a time (6mn 41) you write "mysql -uroot -p" while everywhere I see "-u root -p". Is there a difference? because it seems to work for you, but I would not want to make a mistake.

because is recent, use only 50MB and can define SSH port ( in my case I change default SSH port to difficult attacks).
