shairport not showing up

Hallo,

i installed shairport on my pi2.
got an error at while first activation. little reasearch helped and it seem to be fixed by

Code

sudo cp /usr/share/openmediavault/mkconf/shairport /usr/share/openmediavault/mkconf/shairport-sync

but the problem is.
i cant see the shairport with my iDevices.
Status is fine and syslog has no entry about shairport

root@pi-server:~# /etc/init.d/shairport-sync status


shairport-sync is running.

Which version are you using?

I'm using shairport successfully on iOS 7 and 8 devices.

Arrgghh, i see the problem mkconf script issue. This is really strange because i do not have any problems at home. I will fix this asap.

But this will not fix your main problem; the iOS devices do not see the shairport server.
Please try the following:

# monit stop shairport-sync
# shairport-sync

Maybe this will give us some hints.

still not working

i uninstalled shaiport and reinstalled
thats the message i get when i want to activate shairport.

It shows as "Shairport Sync as xxx (xxx = is my omv name)"
A feature to rename that.
