  • Just use nano to edit files or to test, echo "nameserver 8.8.8.8" > /etc/resolv.conf and then apt-get update


    I was having this issue for 2 days. Finally found this thread and entered this command in but changed the nameserver from google's to my preferred one. Server now working, updates and plugins installing.
