HD activity

    Hallo!


    I have now got my RAID mirroring 4TB drives 2x running and I have created a NFS share on it. I am watching the HD activity and i get a regular blinking of the LED and I can hear a regular sound of the 2 or one of the HD tack tack pause tack tack etc.


    I dont think this is good for them. How can I find out what is going on?

    I have the same Problem and I don't know if it ist normal, too. I had a self installed NAS System based on Ubuntu Server and there the HDD had made the same sound. After a half year two of them had a crash and i got a total lost of data. So is this sound normal for OMV?
