default boot kernel changed after a clonezilla backup

  • Hi all,
today I made a backup image of my system disk with clonezilla; once done I rebooted and strangely found that the default boot kernel was changed from 3.2.0-4-amd64 to 3.16.0-0.bpo.4-amd64
is this some kind of bug in grub?

    Thanks

No. It is probably the systembackup assuming the first kernel is the default. Most people don't install the backports kernel and run the standard kernel.
