How to see Home on OMV 3.xx

  • I'm experimenting openmediavault 3.xx over a previous installation of Debian 8.xx, in which there are 2 HD, one for root and the other as Home. The installation went fine but when I try to activate the user's Home folder of OMV, I do not see the HD with Home in the list of devices. What can I do? I'm writing from Italy, sorry for my English :whistling: .

You can't with your current config. Take home out of fstab and mount it in the OMV web interface in the filesystems tab. Then create a shared folder called homes with a folder of homes. Move the previous home directories into this folder. Then you will be able to select the homes shared folder.
