Notification working but not sending updates

Hello,

I have received notifications of daily backups (DD full) and other RSYNC jobs in "scheduled jobs" (under "system").

But I have not received notifications of system updates or RSYNC jobs scheduled in "services" and not in "scheduled jobs".

I also notice that the outputs in the "syslog" of "rsync jobs" disappear. I see them when I manually perform a backup, but they disappear at the next system login.

I have email notifications working as expected, scheduled jobs notfications are working, but systematically I don't receive Updates notifications even if in the dashboard I see that there are Updates available.

I still don't get anything - if I try and send a test e-mail this is the only entry that appears in the system log:
