hi guys, I am new here and just learn to use omv, it's a fantastic system, but I encountered a problem here.
I installed omv 5 recently, use a SSD driver as the boot device. I installed omv-extra 5.25 and installed flashmemory plugin. I edit /etc/fstab just as the instruction says, and disable the swap partition. then I reboot my nas, it become slowly. the startup screen shows that "mdadm: no arrays found in config file or automatically", this line jumped out a few times, after that the nas can boot normally.
my question is:
how can I avoid the "mdadm" warming
or is disableing swap partition necessary ?
thank you for your help
the following is the plugin's instruction
Code
Fstab (/etc/fstab) needs to be changed manually. Following these steps to change:
......
On systems using GPT, swap will still be auto-detected. The swap partition should be turned off and wiped.
Find the swap partition with:
blkid | grep swap
Example output where /dev/sda2 is the swap partition:
/dev/sda2: UUID="01c2d1ab-354b-4e2b-8d7c-ca35793f5fe7" TYPE="swap" PARTUUID="4f64854c-02"
Disable the swap partition with swapoff:
swapoff /dev/sda2
Wipe the swap partition with wipefs:
wipefs -a /dev/sda2
