Bizzarre Interface Name

  • Hi,


    I recently reinstalled OMV on a machine equiped with a quad-nic and I've noticed that they have a wierd name. Notice the interface named rename6 and rename7. How were those name chosens? How can I change them?

  • Have a look in /etc/udev/rules.d/70-persistent-net.rules


    Having duplicate interface names in that file can cause things like this.
