openmediavault-docker-gui.postinst: 25: /var/lib/dpkg/info/openmediavault-docker-gui.postinst: omv-mkconf: not found

Hi, I am using a fresh install of OMV 5 and tried to install the docker GUI (docker already installed).

Installed the http://omv-extras.org/ sources and all up and running like a charm.

When I try to install openmediavault-docker-gui, I get the following error message:

/var/lib/dpkg/info/openmediavault-docker-gui.postinst: 25: /var/lib/dpkg/info/openmediavault-docker-gui.postinst: omv-mkconf: not found
dpkg: error processing package openmediavault-docker-gui (--configure):

Now, I realize the omv-mkconf is no longer supported in OMV5 per this thread:

omv-mkconf command not found

However, I don't want to fiddle around with the plugin source code either to make changes. Is this Docker GUI version simply not compatible to v5? Shouldn't there be some warning then before installing? I realized the plugin is quite old (v. 4.1.6 from Nov 12, 2019):
