Crashplan installed on OMV can backup Windows 7 clients if that is what you are asking. What is your native language Nightcrrawler?
German
And working so far. The backup Files or Files/Folders(content), things i mark to backup, all land onto my Server but all this stuff is interpreted in CrashPlans own "literary"....
Thanks a lot for this guide. Having tinkered mostly with Windows and Android this was just what i needed.
Note to self: do not rm -r crashplan and then try to start backup.
Crashplan changed the way it communicates with the headless server.
You now have to add the servers security key to C:\ProgramData\CrashPlan\.ui_info (Backup first)
The security key is found in /var/lib/crashplan/.ui_info
The format is: port,key,destination
If you change the "127.0.0.1" to your servers ip adress, you can communicate with the headless server without the ssh tunnel.
Maybe you have to change the serviceHost in /usr/local/crashplan/conf/my.service.xml to 0.0.0.0 first.
