I had issues with my raid and after alot of trial and error this is where I am at. I had a 10 drive raid 5. 2 drives failed. I replaced one. My NAS starts up and confirms there are 9 drives. After sometime it says md/raid:md0:not enough operational devices (2/10 failed). Under disks it has 9 disks. Under file systems I see it too /dev/sdi1 and the filesystem is ntfs while everything else is ext4. I put a screenshot below. Is the drive with the label easystore. Hoping I can get back in and backup my stuff.

Raid5 allows for 1 drive failure, Raid6 allows for 2

if I can get one of the original HDDs working can that bring it back? One spins but isn't seen. The other one the Sata pins are bent.

There's no reason why it shouldn't, if you have managed to get this far it's worth a try

Any advice as to how I can get one of them going again or which one I should attempt?
-
Depends if you can try another machine, the one that spins but is isn't seen would be the obvious option, provided there is no 'clicking' noise. The bent pins might take some work to get it to function, just depends how bent the pins are.

No clicking on the one that isn't seen. I have my pc I tried it on and that's when I realized it wasnt being seen.
The pens one looks like its broken.
What can I do? Is taking it to a computer store and trying to switch data something I should consider?

Are the two drives identical? if they are you change the circuit boards over, have done this on a failing laptop drive, so move the board from the drive that can't be seen to the one with bent pins.

No, IMHO this would be a waste of money, but that's your choice.

Yes they are both western digital easy stores 10 tb. How exactly would I do this?
Edit: Just saw a guide for this and it seems too technical for me. I don't even know how to sodder lol. Would a professional be able to do this for me?

There's nothing to solder, the circuit board on the back is held in place with 4 -6 screws
-
wait so I'm assuming you mean the green board is the piece? What kind of screwdriver would I need? The board isn't hard coded to the individual HDD?
-
Yes, that's the board, you will need a torx screwdriver, by the look of it there are eight screws, do not attempt to remove those screws with any other type of screwdriver.

-
I think it's a T8 torx

Now I'm confused. Others have said I need to swap the bios chip as well?

OK
How would I do that?

You have posted on here for some help, you currently have 8 drives out of 10 on a Raid 5, once you start getting over 4 drives in an array it is advised to use Raid 6.
Your Raid therefore is currently toast, you have 2 drives from that array, one isn't recognised, the other has bent pins, I have made a suggestion on how to possibly make one working drive out of two. To hopefully get your raid back up, perhaps these others can help you you further, but I have done this myself and just changed the circuit boards and the failing drive worked. I had data on it that I needed, so by all means carry on taking advice from others cos I'm done here.
I hope you get it sorted.
