Update Manager -> check updates --> error

Hmm i came on here for the same reason omv5. The error is very similar to yours

I first noticed this behavior a few weeks ago.

system works fine, otherwise.

Only happens when a manual update check is done.

It would seem the system is finding updates on its own, but after that a manual search returns the above.

Was that the same for you sk123?

to be absolutely sure of context, this error happens right after you installed OMV according to the post here?

If yes,

Debian seems to have done a repository change that together with an omission in OMV version 5,5,11 causes the error (ref).

Later versions of OMV have a fix included!

To fix it try below command in a console window

apt-get update --allow-releaseinfo-change

I must admit i was rather hasty. when i saw the other post i just tagged in to it.

But i followed your link, all sorted now.
