Hi,
have no ideas bcs bad performance of raid.
But I want to ask the experts :
What do you think about the CF card w sata adapter running as the system drive ?
Most threads I read here don't recommend flash drives as the system drive. -
Ok, before OMV I used and went thru my flash stage. I used on different operating systems and had many issues. This lead me to be very negative on the flash medium in general. I think there have been some improvements in flash but for me it is just to unreliable. If you are using an OS that is pretty static like ESXi then I think it is ok. If it dies on that you can simply reinstall and your vms are fine. But even then I prefer not to have to do such things. I really hate flash except for small transfers. Has anyone here lost pictures on flash media? My mom and sister have. And then they cry to me for help. I just have low opinion of it in general.
PS- I should add I'm not to happy with plus 1TB hard drives either. As they have gotten larger their reliability has really gotten ugly.

I too have lost data on flash media, from a USB stick failing with music on it for use in my car, pictures and so forth. Then I read an article at Seagate's website where they state flash memory may be only good for 3000 write cycles. Not Good! And they imply it is getting worse rather than better. I'm with Tekkbebe on this. And I believe in backup, backup, and backup again!
