A clean install of OMV6 was totally pain free (except for my own misunderstanding on how to import my zfs pool) within just a few hours, install, shares, docker and containers set up, the only thing left for tomorrow is to set up SMART and Rsync.
EDIT: Another hour and it's complete, all told about half a day's work
