Slow copy from one SMB share folder to another SMB

    hi there,


    I have created two shared folder on a single raid array. The copy time is two times slower that when I copy file from my linux machine to SMB shared folder. Is there something what I can do to fix it?

    If you copy between two smb shares data is sent from OMV to your client and from your client back to the OMV server.

    Can you do a local copy on the server using mc or some other tool?

    yes, I can do that. I mean, I know how to deal with that "manually" and speed up the process. I was just wondering if there is other permanent. solution. When simply drag and drop between shared folders will be faster.
