RAID missing, Filesystem missing, drives appear physically fine.

    my OMV is installed in VMware workstation in Windows 10. Everything works great for years now. But today maybe a power loss or something, I don't know what happen!.

    But my raid doesn't show up. I have the result of the following codes I pressed via putty.

    Not sure if I can help, I use VirtualBox on my W10 workstation but for testing purposes only, in respect of your output the array simply isn't there, what is also interesting, fdisk is the only output that shows the virtual drives


    Have you tried restarting the virtual machine

    Nothing the array is toast, somehow the array headers have been over written

    yes. /dev/sd[be] this two disk was stripe raid

    striped raid is effectively a raid0, lose one drive lose the array

  • So, now I should,


    1. format those drives.
    2. re-make the raid.
    3. re-create file system.
    4. copy those files from backup?
