I believe they should be separated by a colon :
XBMC-Server (headless/minified) Libraryscanner

hm nothing is working. ; : ,
I think it's space, but in omv setup it is not possible to add a space. Crazy...
-
Can't help you there I'm afraid since I don't use the NFS sharing of OMV...
-
No problem.
I just set up the share twice. -
When I wan't to use Universal Media Scraper, did I have to add it in the docker run command? Or just add the addon to the specific folder?
Addon is in the roght folder but -
Best way would be to enter the container and running "/root/addon_install.php metadata.universal" this will take care of any dependencies too.
-
Evenrything it's working.
U r my hero
Big thanks. -
Glad you got it working and thanks for testing the docker image. Now I know it's working for someone else than me
-
The next days I will test 15 rc2. Without help.
-
Just remember then that the database version numbering has changed between Helix and Isengard...
-
@subzero79 is it enough to remove the --disable-nonfree line when configuring the kodi build to get rar support?
-
great work!
got isengard running. kodi.log looks nice.
but 2 questions:
1. does it start autostart with the system ?
2. i cant reach the webinterface on 8080
thats my command i used -
The command should be:
docker run -d --restart-always -e MYSQLip=192.168.0.107 -e MYSQLport=3306 -e MYSQLuser=xbmc -e MYSQLpass=xbmc -e KODIWATCHDOG=true -v /opt/kodi:/opt/kodi-server/share/kodi/portable_data nicjo814/kodi-headless:15.rc2If you want it to listen on the default port of 8080 and start up with every restart of your system.
-
i found this error in kodi.log
it seems nfs doesnt connect correctlyCode21:16:28 T:139836506273536 DEBUG: [service.watchdog] not watching <nfs://192.168.0.107/export/NAS_HD/Medien/Movies/>. does not exist 21:16:28 T:139836506273536 DEBUG: NFS: Context for 192.168.0.107/export/NAS_HD not open - get a new context. 21:16:28 T:139836506273536 ERROR: NFS: Failed to mount nfs share: /export/NAS_HD (mount/mnt call failed with "RPC error: Mount failed with error MNT3ERR_ACCES(13) Permission denied(13)")
i deleted old container and tried to run new with your provided command
gives this errorCoderoot@NAS:/opt/kodi/temp# docker run -d --restart-always -e MYSQLip=192.168.0.107 -e MYSQLport=3306 -e MYSQLuser=xbmc -e MYSQLpass=xbmc -e KODIWATCHDOG=true -v /opt/kodi:/opt/kodi-server/share/kodi/portable_data nicjo814/kodi-headless:15.rc2 flag provided but not defined: --restart-always See 'docker run --help'.
-
You have to change the permissions of the nfs share. The docker-container have his own IP. Just make two nfs shares for your Video folder. One for the clients, for example 192.168.1.0/24 and one for the kodi server : 172.17.0.0/24

subzero79 is it enough to remove the --disable-nonfree line when configuring the kodi build to get rar support?
YEs, from the build that i did is enough, also i consulted the kodi channel back at the time and i had the same answer.
it seems nfs doesnt connect correctly
Something to fix at the server? is this @nicjo814 image? if so, and your existing other kodi clients can connect there must be a change in the nfs stack probably in kodi 15. Another probable cause, It might be that the binds are not mounted in the server check with mount | grep export in OMV
-
Thanks subzero79.
That worked!but
flag still gives error
Coderoot@NAS:/opt/kodi/temp# docker run -d --restart-always -e MYSQLip=192.168.0.107 -e MYSQLport=3306 -e MYSQLuser=xbmc -e MYSQLpass=xbmc -e KODIWATCHDOG=true -v /opt/kodi:/opt/kodi-server/share/kodi/portable_data nicjo814/kodi-headless:15.rc2 flag provided but not defined: --restart-always See 'docker run --help'.
-
