Installation issues black screen on cleen install

Hi everyone.

I am new to Omv.

I am trying to install omv on a delloptiflex 980

Cpu : intel i5 650 cpu

24 GB ram

250ssd for os.

I get to the install menu when i boot in to usb.

When i select in stall the screen goes black and that is where it stays

If i press e and do a gfxmode= command no mater what res it still does that. What am i doing wrong?

So i did the following

1) downloaded dabain 12 64bit. Net install

Same issue

2) downloaded full dabain dvd same issue.

3) tested the live disk and all thats different is it has a dash that is flickering left hand bottom corner.

I tried the ahci and secure boot off. Ended up installing i386 dabian. And installed OMV. And it works. Lost the ability to run docker but thats no issue. Running them on a Dell server just wanted to get it working seems to work great so far. Will run it for a while as test unit before i will deploy it for fully working unit.
