I have a recycle bin set up in my smb share for my NAS storage. It is configured with a 14 day rentention policy.
According to the text under the field, "Files in the recycle bin will be deleted automatically after the specified number of days. Set to 0 for manual deletion.", files should get removed when they age past that 14 day rentention. This is not happening automatically, I can click the little erase/delete button next to this smb field to force it to erase the recycle bin, but this removes everything and ignores the retention time.
As a workaround I can create a cron job with a find command to delete them, but it would be nice if this feature worked as it is supposed to.
