Does anyone know where this is going wrong?
It is trying to check to see if newer images are available. I would guess your system doesn't have access to internet or the docker image repos.

Yes, I can't access docker hub. Can the url be made configurable? That way I can configure it as an accessible mirror

I guess so but I won't be backporting that change to OMV 6. It might be easier to add an environment variable to turn the feature off.

I think I will stick with just allowing it to be turned off.
