I follow this guide Install ZFS snapshot and Enable SAMBA shadow copy ( Previous Versions ) for Windows step by step - General - openmediavault (and also some others) but cannot get Previous Versions to work with ZFS. In Samba log (Level Debug) I can see NT_STATUS_NOT_SUPPORTED regarding the shadow copy. But I can find a bug from 2017 and 2019 only that must be fixed.
Anyone an idea what is going wrong?
Tried the setting from the tread above and also this one (Exposing zfs snapshot to windows previous version using samba vfs_shadow_copy2 (github.com)) without success:
# VFS Snapshot activation
vfs objects = shadow_copy2 zfsacl
shadow:snapdir = .zfs/snapshot
shadow:snapprefix = .*
shadow:delimiter = -20
shadow:format = -%Y-%m-%d-%H%M
