Mysql-data on OMV OS disk

  • Hi guys I love this OMV1!
i installed MySQL plugin because I wanna had a database on my nas for my 2 xbmc device.
i wanna put the db on my os disk because it is an ssd, unfortunately I can't choose my ssd from the list, it is not possible I must use only data drive?

    thx

  • Grab a gparted or partedmagic disk and shrink your OS partition and add another partition on it. This new partiton can be used in the Webinterface, however this is not recommended, cause you no longer keep data and OS seperate.

  • I installed MySQL independently from OMV,
    ssh into thebox
    apt-get install mysql-server

then follow the rest of the xbmc sql shared library wiki.

All sql data is stored on the OMV system disc.

If you could just go ahead and make a plugin for it, that'd be great.
