Give me this:
cat /etc/apt/sources.list.d/omv-extras-org-stoneburner.listWhat cpu do you have?
This is the output you should get with the apt-get policy command:
-
Ah, you entered a custom repo. You need to enable the mono repo in OMV Extras.
Delete the custom repo and enable the mono repo in OMV Extras.
Then run this:
apt-get policy openmediavault-embyIf you do not see the repo like mine above run "apt-get update".
-
The apt-get policy command is used to find out what repos a package is coming from and it lets you see pinning.
-
Yeah I had to enter a custom repo because the Mono repo is not showing in OMV Extras.
cat /etc/apt/sources.list.d/omv-extras-org-stoneburner.list
Zitat# Regular omv-extras.org repo

# Testing omv-extras.org repo

# miller repo

deb http://ppa.launchpad.net/deluge-team/ppa/ubuntu precise main
# miller testing repo

deb http://debian.yeasoft.net/btsync14 wheezy main
# syncthing repo
deb http://apt.syncthing.net/ syncthing release
# spideroak repo
deb http://apt.spideroak.com/ubuntu-spideroak-hardy/ release restricted -
The repo does not show because of cpu you are using.

Hey tekkbWhat do you mean with "because of CPU you are using"?
I had a working emby-installation before and the CPU is a normal x86 Intel Braswell N3150, no problems so far...Maybe I can add the line in /etc/apt/sources.list.d/omv-extras-org-stoneburner.list?
Can you tell what the entry for Mono is there? -
-
Need to know what the output of uname -a is. If it is a 586 kernel, it will default to armel repos (very limited). I probably need to add 586 because it only looks for 486 or 686. Didn't think anyone would use 586 anymore.
-
Hmmm, he says x86 but I just checked and it is 64 bit capable cpu.
I wonder if he installed amd64 version of OMV.
-
Released a new omv-extras that should fix this.
-
I'm using a custom kernel 4.3.3. I had some problems with microcode and such with the stock kernel (relatively new cpu).
Edit: Yes, it's an 64bit installation. But I can switch to backports kernel and report back if this could be the problem.
-
@EruIluvatar
No need to switch. When you built the kernel, you probably didn't add amd64 to the name. With the omv-extras fix, it will find x86_64 which should be in all 64 bit kernels. -
Wow, now there are sooo many repositories and possibilities.
Thanks a lot @tekkb and @ryecoaaron! -
Hi All
I am also having a problem finding the mono repository. I even upgrades from OMV 0.5 to 1.19 to get it. Still didnt appear under secondary.
Any ideas? -

What type of system? -
Can't install this.. I get the same errors trying to install it as when I try to install Sonarr
-
Show errors. What mono repos enabled? Both or just the mono repo?

Tried all the mono repos (in all combinations) and same errors as posted on the Sonarr thread; the same thing that you and already discussed on there.

libmono-cil-dev (>= 3.10) but 2.10.8.1-8+deb7u1
is the error I continually get for these 2 plugins. libmono wants v.3+ but Wheezy can't install it because it's for Jessie. At least that is what I'm reading on forums, installation blogs, and stacks.
